Between 1911 and 1940 numerous buildings and interiors were built according to Jan Stuyt and Piet Gerrits’ designs, which were based on Syrian and Jordanian architecture. Walk through the 30 hectare park and learn more about the three monotheistic religions. Visit the early Christian church house, the Hidden Garden, a synagogue, a mosque, the birth cave, an oriental caravanserai and the Bedouin camp. Smell the scents in the Arabian souk and have a cup of tea there. Experience antiquity in the Roman Town Street, home to Greek, Egyptian and Roman houses.
